We are seeking for multiple Backend Developers (Laravel) to work on a SaaS product to build out APIs and architect backend tools. In addition to the details outlined below, a successful candidate will have expert level understanding and experience with Object Oriented Programming, will be self motivated, have a love for learning and new technology, and be able to lead and mentor others. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack web application developer (talented on both frontend and backend) who has a knack for problem solving and critical thinking. We are looking for someone with experience architecting solutions and breaking business requirements down into achievable technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop web-based PHP applications using Laravel
• Refactor existing code to meet new standards and features (PHP 8.1)
• Write unit tests and document features and processes
• Be responsible for implementing new features and integrations as well as supporting existing functionality
• Coordinate with other members of the team and communicate on the status of your tasks
• Collaborate and problem solve with the Product team
• Join us in sprint planning and retrospectives

Qualifications

• Proficient with PHP
• Proficient with Laravel
• Create powerful, flexible, and highly scalable APIs
• Familiar with tools such as PHPCS, PHPStan, PHPUnit
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Database schema design, normalization
• Understanding of MVC frameworks and SPA
• Ability to write clean code that is also reusable
• An eye for detail and a commitment to quality work
• Good communication and writing skills
• Previous customer service and client communication experience preferred
• Must be able to work Bangladesh Standard Time hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
